Refund Policy

At Blue Sail Software LTD, we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. However, due to the nature of the services we provide—software services delivered electronically—specific refund policies apply. Please read this document carefully to understand the terms and conditions governing refunds.


General Refund Policy

  1. No Refunds for Used Services or Activated Licenses
    Once a software service has been accessed, used, or a license has been activated, refunds will not be granted. This is in accordance with "Contracts for the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium," under UK consumer law.
  2. Eligibility for Refunds
    Refunds may only be considered under the following conditions:
    • The service has not been used or accessed.
    • The software license has not been activated.
    • The refund request is made within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  3. Digital Services and Intangible Goods
    According to UK law, particularly the Consumer Contracts Regulations, refunds for "electronic services executed instantly or intangible goods instantly delivered to the consumer" are not required if the service has already been provided.

Conditions for Refund Requests

Refund requests will only be accepted if:

  • The service has not been delivered or accessed.
  • The user contacts us within 14 days of purchase.
  • There is evidence that the license key has not been used or activated.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Include the following details in your email:
    • Your full name.
    • Purchase date.
    • Order confirmation number.
    • Reason for requesting the refund.
  3. Our customer support team will review your request within 5-7 business days and notify you of the outcome.

Exceptions to the Refund Policy

We reserve the right to decline refund requests under the following circumstances:

  • If the service has been accessed, used, or the license has been activated.
  • If the refund request is made more than 14 days after the purchase date.
  • If the service falls under the category of non-refundable services under UK consumer law.

Additional Information for United Kingdom Customers

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:

  1. Customers have a 14-day "cooling-off" period for digital services. However, this right is waived if:
    • The service is consumed instantly.
    • The user has explicitly agreed to waive their right to a refund upon purchase.
  2. If the service has not been accessed or used within this period, a refund may still be possible.
